I was looking through boxes from the garage, and I found two near mint condition San Francisco Chronicles from when the headlines read "JOHN BELUSHI DEAD".
Right from the start I got my happy face on, NOT because of the death, but seeing as how they are both from the same day (just one is the Home Edition), and also because it's pretty historic. Here's the part that tripped me out, though:
A security guard at the Chateau Marmont Hotel said
Belushi was found on a bed in a bungalow behind the hotel, and appeared to have choked on food. "It
appears to be death by natural causes," said
Lieutenant Dan Cooke of the Los Angeles Police
Department. "The detectives here found nothing to
make it seem suspicious." ...Cook added that there
were no signs of drug usage.
How about that, Kev? The media wouldn't lie to us... Would they? Anyway, just thought I'd share this with you and everyone else on the board. It had a really good quote from Belushi in the articles, which can be seen below. Later all.
