In the deleted scenes commentaries on the Amy DVD, when introducing the Steve-Dave/Walt the Fan Boy scene, Kevin is talking about how he pretty much lifted the dialogue from a very negative "Mallrats" review. Affleck points out that it's great revenge and what if they're watching...
"HaHaHaHa... FUCK YOU!! 'Mallrats' was good!" I die every time. I'll even watch it if I don't have enough time to wactually watch the movie [e.g. in the morning before I leave]
It's hysterical, and Kevin is adorable when he says, "'Mallrats' was good." - which is was.
