I'm sure Kevin gets asked this all the time (and probably on this board) but how did he come up with the basis of Clerks. Did he ever work as a video clerk or a store attendant. Just wondering cuz I've worked at both in the past year and finally saw Clerks for a second time, and he was basically dead on with his writing as to what actually happens at those type of places.
