Wow -- I guess you never know what impression you're giving off. See, that's how I would have taken that statement -- expressing that you don't care whether or not people are gay or straight, but you respect them enough as *people* to be honest with them. That's really cool. Right on.
: People were a bit suspicious before, but I opened my mouth a little wider that day, and it seemed to clear the air a little. Suddenly I got invited to a couple of weddings, got asked out socially more. It helped things move to a more intimate level.
