I guess the view Askew crowd and the Man behind vulgarthon (hope i spelt that right) are the best people to ask so here goes. Ill start by addressing it to the big man but anybody jump in here and email me if you have anything that might help.
right, Basicly im doing this on behalf of a good friend and fellow Site worker Zac shiply. Bacisly hes come up with the idea of hireing out cinema screens to put on the old skool movie Transformers the movie ( Featuring Judd "the harsh one" Nelson and a few other notables as well as some ledgends in the feild of voice acting). This is all due to the recent return of the classic 80's style form for the 'formers which started lats year with Transformers Robots In disguise ( also known as Car robots in its native japan) and the forth commin Armada wich has the Ol op most of us know and love making a comeback in a brand spankin new upgraded body.
I guess you could say its for us old timers but its also for the new generations of kids who have come to like Tf's and never got the opertunity to see the movie on the big screen like some of us were fortunate to do. Botcon sure aint any use cause thats just to a very small number of people in the limited one show theyve put on each year.
Zack is basicly at a loose end about where to go with the idea short of getting it put on once at an independant film festival instead of the "tour" he was thinking of. so i guessed the experts at VA would be the people to seek advice from
any help you can give is muyo apreciated.
