I've read a lot of books on the Kennedy assasination, and Stone covers a lot of interesting, fertile ground in his film that the Warren Commision either conveniently ignored, or deliberately obfuscated. JFK isn't neccessarily the true story of the Garrison investigation, but as a collage of various conspiracy theories and a collection of some of those things ignored by the Warren Commision, it's loaded to the brim with some really compelling stuff that anybody well-read on the assasination knows to be pretty close to the truth (or as close to the truth as we'l lever know after all this time).
