As you said, Donners claen shirt is what defined my ending. That last scene his shirt is clean, somthing that seems impossibls when you see how dirty it was. So that gives me the idea he was dead or halucenating, or disconnected from his old life in anyway. However, I'd like to belive Donner did find Big Foots (or Feet) and live a happy life in the woods. Anyway, I have a mild belief in a bigfoot like creature somewhere in the world.

: In regards to the ending of the movie. I think that Jason Lee's character Donner was brilliant in that movie. At the ending, I was wondering if his campfire experience with the 'Foot family was suppose to be something that was actually happening to the character, or if it was just the culmination of many delusions that Donner had about Big Foot, the first such delusion coming in his living room. My opinion is that the entire thing was in his head and that he truly believed what he was saying ,but in reality he was probably just sitting in the woods with the only thing listening to him being the campfire. But at least he had a clean shirt. I'm just curious as to what your actual thoughts were when you wrote that scene.
