He mensions it on commentary of said movie. The story goes: The hopes for the success of Mallrats was so high, that they planed to make a sequel. Hense, Kev's idea for Mallrats 2: Die Hard in the Mall. But, alas, the movie "bombed" and the sequel went down the toilet with Jeremy London's carreer. Again in the commentary he says of a comic version of the ailing epilouge. But I haven't heard or seen anything of the sort since. But as for a Mallrats part deux, 99.9 percent cance not happening as Clerks 2 will be the last appearence of Jay and Silent bob in a movie.
