first off i DID search the board. and the web.
i have no numbers on my dvd remote, hence no way to press a 0 before the numbers that i cannot press to begin with. i have no "select" key that i see so i cant use the playstation methods, but maybe there is an equivelant key. ive got a sony dvd player (which works perfectly fine) and havent come across any reason to need numbers on the remote. until now. if i use the sony universal remote for my stereo, or the sony tv remote, in both cases the number keys act like the arrow keys or otherwise have functions assigned to them so thats a no go also. one website suggested that playing track 2 on the first disk and track 3 on the second will force them to play, but ive tried manually playing all tracks on both dvd's and other than track 1 (which starts the movie) they all just jump back to the menu.
is there a way besides entering the numbers on a number pad to get access to the hidden eggs with jay and silent bob action figures?
