I've been away for a while, but wanted to pop-in to recommend an excellent film-maker.
For those of you who are not familiar, Jean-Pierre Jeunet is the writer/director of this year's Oscar nominated Amelie. I have completely fallen in love with his films and highly recommend that, if you have not seen them, you go get them. These films are visually stunning (specifically his collaborations with Marc Caro) and the stories are original and enchanting. I just can't say enough about these films.
However, these movies are not for the extremely lazy - they are in French with English subtitles, so you actually have to READ while watching the movie (by the way, if you are one of these people you should be ashamed).
Go and enjoy.
