Ok, so i understand the Tim Burton bashing when it comes to the Batman movies. But, then again when has Hollywood ever produced a decent fairly accurate adaptation from comic book to live action film? The only decent comic book movie I've seen was X-men, which if you actually read X-men you'd get pissed off watching the movie because it doesn't follow the storylines from the comics at all. (However, it's entertaining) Anyway, my point about Burton is that though he may have made some bad flicks like Mars Attacks, Planet of the Apes, and Sleepy Hollow he has made some memorable ones. I mean i really enjoy Beetlejuice( a movie Michael Keaton was pretty good in), Edward Scissorhands, Ed Wood, and I have to say it Pee Wee's Big Adventure. ( I grew up watching the show...sue me) Overall, at least he's an original director who has a style to his films, which makes them appear dark but colorful in that comicbook way...
