i also watch the movie religously, i've had it on repeat in my dvd player for about a week and a half now, and i thats why i asked it. in fact, me and my friend matt just started writing a kind of updated version of it (instead taking place in tx in '76, it takes place in RI in the present)
by the way we're only like 13 (me and my friend)
