I could be wrong but I remember him posting about this a while ago. Basically he was one of many people who did re-writes of the script and none of whom were actually credited.
The only things in the finished that are Kevin's are mostly small things like characters names. But he did pretty much come up with John Goodman's character who was totally different in other draft.
That's all I can remember.
