: In hindsight, I can see how that heading might suggest something that will require a sock to sop up, but no. It all good.
: Some three years ago, a friend introduced me to the head-fuck that is "Dogma". Brilliant fucking flick! Yet I couldn't give two fucks about directors and script writers and blah, blah, blah. For three years I enjoyed that flick for all its worth. Intelligent and funny, but does not condescend. To not be talked down to just because you're watching a movie is so fucking refreshing. I must've rented the bastard 20-30 times, but it wasn't until this past Thursday that I finally bought the thing. That's okay though. BlockBuster video has always been good to me.
: Upon seeing Kevin on...I think it was a Dennis Miller Live appearance, I've gone alittle Smith crazy-which is my way with people that earn my admiration. A big tongue up the ass(it's a joke people. come to collect and I'll kick your ass) to this site for making everything Kevin so damn accessable. The articles that I've laughed my ass off to. The interviews and various broadcast appearances. Thank you for not making me have to search the damn web for this stuff!
: Finally-it wasn't until last night that I watched his other films-Clerks/Mallrats/Chasing. As I said, I'd never joined the league of director fandom. I was disappointed with nota one of them, though I wonder why Mallrats had been marked as the failure-the black sheep of the family. Oh yeah-I seem to remember reading something about second films taking a beating, just because they're number 2. Either way, I finished it not 30min ago and thought it damn fulfilling. That Jason Lee kid is amazing. I mean-to think before this he was a pro-skater which, to me, sounds like a polar opposite.

: Fuck-looking up, this little message seems obnoxiously long. Sorry bout that, and I hope the point wasn't lost. Which was just basically to say thank you Kevin, for releasing the valve that lets out the pressure of the daily bump and grind.
: Note: In junior high in Toronto, we watched daily episodes of degrassi for guidence class. I think you and I are the only ones that liked it. They did a reunion movie, by the way.
: Done.
