My question is... Kevin had said that he worked really hard to get David Duchovny in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and even had Duchov read the script in reference to a particular part he wanted him to play. The only reason that he wasn't in the movie was because of scheduling conflicts (filming Evolution???).

Anywho, who replaced him in the script? What character was originally pegged for Duchovny??
