This is just a random thought. Given your sense of humor and your gift for dialogue, I think the next comic hero you should revive is Plastic Man. I was looking at the Chip Kidd book and it seems to me that Jack Cole was doing in comics what you do on film. Mostly likely I am a day late on this since I suspect that others have suggested this character to you. The hard part might be finding an artist who would devote time and energy to draw all that maniac background action like Cole. But I think you could do great things with Plastic Man. I think your one of the few comic book writers who could match, if not surpass the brilliant of Cole's humor and satire.
Anyway a random thought.
