A very SERIOUS question about JSBSB!!!!!

Why did KEVIN delete the line when Diedrich asks Shannon "brenda?" a la MALLRATS? It was like 2 seconds long, it aint like it would have made the movie a signicant amount longer. That line was one of the best from MALLRATS and it would have been classic to see its return.
