: Is it worth denying a life of opportunity? Turning down the chance to finish your degree at an amazing school you've dreamed of? Is it worth a life of toil and trouble? worth working any and every job you can get hired for so that you can support a family, a family that's not of your seed, but very much your "own"? Is there a limit to the pain it can cause you? or the money, opportunity, privilege, guaranteed success that you can sacrifice? Is there a limit to the suffering that love is worth? I never thought so, but now I'm being told there is. That there's an "unhealthy love" for another. That you could love another person so much that it can cause you harm. What do you do when NO ONE understands? When everyone not only doubts but condemns you? How can you get up in the morning when you've sunk lower than you ever imagined, when you have in fact bottomed out, then very quickly and ever surprisingly it actually gets worse? What do you do when you're below rock bottom? Can one actually keep fighting?
1st thing to do is breathe...second thing is sustenance...third thing is shelter...all the rest is just filler. If something isn't working for you, get rid of it. If something IS working for you, keep it and fuck everyone who doesn't like it. THAT'S how you simplify things. All that matters is what YOU say matters, nothing else.
