it comes from the mothers side, not the fathers side. if your mother's father was bald, you will most likely get that gene that makes you bald.

: Oh shit, that is so fucked up, i wrote a very long, very interesting reply to this ladies post, one of the best posts i have ever done on this board if i do say so myself and it magically disapeared when i hit the post button, this is so frustrating, cause i know i can never say it the way i said it and i have no idea what happened to the original post. so to sum it up it went something like this (i though you were being serious Hov cause it honestly was a very good response i wrote her)
: i said i was shocked that her post was her idea of what the mentality is of the average view askew fan after she watched a few of Kevins films, that is that we are all obsessed with homosexuality and sex changes, but to answer her question that you would only go bald if you're father didn't go bald, remembering it is hereditory but it skips a generation, that is of course unless your father was a woman.
: : : : Hi there! Newbie to the board signing in!!
: : : : *Big wave to all*
: : : : Here I am, sitting at work, wasting as much time as inhumanly possible and a hideous thought crossed my mind...
: : : : Just say, hypothetically, that I was a man (which I'm definitely not!!) and decided I wanted to be a woman. I then go through the process - the nips, the tucks, the slicing and dicing and medicating....
: : : : So, I have boobs, I have semi-working equipment.... BUT.... later on in life, do I still go bald??????
: : : : Are all the sex change bods out there wearing wigs in their old age??
: : : : *fears*
: : : : Right - I shall now go back to playing paperclip hockey...
