The motherload of vulagrity Dudley Moore is dead. And i'll miss the little drunk bastard. You think Jay and Bob are vulgar ? They don't even come close to Derek and Clive. Way back in the 70's Dudley Moore and Peter Cook started making comedy albums as Derek and Clive ( and other assorted characters ). The recording's where half drunk ad libs of some of the finest vulgar comedy you'll ever hear. Hamburger stands up Joan crawfords pussy and masterbating to pictures of Clement Atly are just the tip of the iceberg. In fact it has become plain to me after seeing Mr Smiths efforts that he can never quite get to the Derek and Clive standard. Most people never knew about the D&C albums, Dudley Moore allways avoided the subject when he went all hollywood and Peter Cook was allways far too drunk to answer anything. But if you go to your record shop you can find these gems ( a list of the albums will be at the bottom of the post ).
Would be interesting to hear if Mr.Smith has heard these recordings, if not he should.
