I remember a time when in general, everything was on-topic. People would ask questions, if it was in the summaries, we would say "Check the summaries." Then, "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" came out, and the board started to get filled with random twelve year olds and girls wanting to fuck Jay. Many people who were here for a while left. The board filled up with mindless drivel. I left for a long period of time, and only returned to make a post regarding the death of Billy Wilder (and as fate would have it, a post about the death of Ozzy's drummer garnered more attention), and I kept it on-topic by asking if any of the reds had any thoughts. I heard that Kevin had a moment of silence for Billy at URI, so clearly, the man has some opinions on him. Trust me, the board isn't silent when it is only on-topic posts. You just need to be creative about how you go about it.
