Any former film not written by Kevin Smith that suddenly becomes written by Kevin Smith would probably have little semblance to the film we're thinking of in a historical sense and therefore wouldn't even be THAT film at all but instead a totally new film. We could wish Kevin wrote "Heathers"...we could wish Kevin wrote "On The Road"...we could wish Kevin wrote The Treaty of Versailles...but in the end, all that wishing is moot, because NO other film or written work "sounds" like a Kevin Smith film because only Kevin Smith films are similar to Kevin Smith films, because Kevin's main saving grace is that he's an incredibly inventive comedic writer with a very distinctive and unique cinematic voice.
