His character was one of the few problems I had with the film. It was so broadly-drawn. He was like a Wet Bandit with cornrows. Sure, his character is supposed to be a dumb, whiny fuck-up, but Leto played him so incredibly foolish and comically inept that he seemed out of sync with the other characters.
But he did make me laugh a few times.
