: Yes, they are. If I wasn't in such a good mood I'd probably be making some smart ass comments, but I'm in an Easter type mood. Okay, Clerks took place the day after Mallrats - a lot of the same characters were brought up in both (Cousin Walter, the chick that died in the YMCA pool, etc.) Chasing Amy took place two years after the first two flicks, and Alysa (if I'm not mistaken) is Trish "The Dish" (of Mallrats)'s sister. Dogma is related by Jay and Bob being in it (I'm sure there's more, I just haven't seen it nearly as much as the other flicks) and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back have an uncountable amount of connections with the other four flicks.
: O.L.
Alyssa is also the sister of Heather, the chick who leaves with Rick Derris. A lot of the same characters appear or are mentioned in all of the movies. And of course, Jay and Silent Bob are in all five. There isn't a lot of connections in Dogma to any of the others, but Brian O'Halloran is back as Grant Hicks, the reporter and Jeff Anderson has a small part as the gun salesman. Jason Lee and Ben Affleck are both back (as different characters than the other movies) and so is Matt Damon (he had a tiny part in Chasing Amy), the only other connections in Dogma that I can see to the other movies are Fanboy and Steve-Dave (abortion protestors), the fact that the movie ends in New Jersey, and when everybody's on the train, as Bethany is walking in, you can hear Jay describing Silent Bob flying into a wall at the mall to Loki and Bartleby. Chasing Amy has a lot of the same actors as Mallrats and a lot of the same characters are mentioned. I've only seen JaSBSB once when it came out in theaters and have yet to buy it on DVD (yet another reason why I need to get a job) so I can't remember all the connections there, but a lot of characters (almost all, in fact) show up by the end of the movie. So, yeah, they're all interconnected, but Dogma the least of all since it doesn't really take place in New Jersey to the very end.
