Yeah, played in Boston last night (somervlle actually) which is where I live, he came to me!! ha ha
I've seen him a few times, in Boston 3x now, 3xin California, and one of the times he was in Cali he played at Borders Bookstore (not sure if you have those in the Uk)...he played a Solo acoustic set for over an hour, and i was like 5 feet from him on ground level as he played it was amazing, here's a picture from that show, he did a meet and greet after and I got my cover of Brewing Up with Billy Bragg signed and chatted with him for a minute or two and got a few photos...I was glowing for weeks, best musical experience ever, I never thought I'd ever get to meet him, yet somehome I've gotten to see him live many many times....
I prefer him solo, than with a band, but his new band it is good.....I've seen him with Cara Tivey, and Wiggy.....as well as with the Red Stars...last night he was with the new band the Blokes, but he did a solo set...if you can beleive it he did Man in the Iron Mask...I almost shit myself....
As you can see I'm excited to talk Bragg, as rarely does anyone know who he is......
