Premiere is dogshit compared to Final Cut Pro. I'm not saying that to be pro-apple, i'm saying that because it's true.
Final Cut Pro wasn't created to compete against the few hundred dollar Premiere, it was created to compete agains the few TENS OF THOUSANDS of dollars AVID systems... which it has been VERY successful at doing.
The big push is coming right now in the form of an add-on called Cinema Tools which allows for native 24fps conversion/editing... a MAJOR tool that i can't wait to try out.
: Plus PC's (clones) are cheaper.
but NOT the major brands... apple is competitive (price/feature) with dell/hp/compaq
