I think it's the fact that I am such a personal student of film that I want to see just about everything ever made. :-) I've seen quite a few NC-17 movies through my campus theater and the local videostore (and, thankfully, through Netflix.com), and I often find these the most interesting because they refuse to blink in regards to their subject matter.
