What do you think about films from Spanish directors like, Miguel Albaladejo (The First Night of My Life) or Alejandro Amenabar (Abre los Ojos) aka Open your Eyes?

In 1998 CU Cinema presented films about the eve of the Millennium. The First Night... was part of that group of films, called "2000 as seen by..."

Has the notion ever entered your mind, to commission such a series of film by young filmmakers?

P.S. What up with that rain sequence in Chasing Amy, dude, can you see the film crews reflection in the windows on the buildings? I might be wrong , but I think I see a boom. No, I not a filmmaker or film student... I just dig movies, like no one's business.
