SUPERMAN is simply a wonderful film in every respect. When I was a kid, I liked SUPERMAN II more, but on viewing the DVDs recently, the original SUPERMAN blows it away and really withstands the test of time. SUPERMAN II is a lot of fun, but SUPERMAN is about as close to perfect as a movie can be.
The less said about SUPERMAN III and SUPERMAN IV the better.
