: : I have yet to take a screenwriting class so I have no idea what the hell I'm doing when I sit down and hack out my tripe.
: : Sadly every Screenplay that I've picked up based on a movie that has already been made includes the camera direction. From what I've heard from my more advanced friends who are also majoring in flim... that isn't the way they should be done.
: : Does anyone know of a good online screenplay that is a great representation of the actual form and style expected of a screenwriter?
: I read The Screenwriter's Bible from cover to cover before I ever even attempted to take a stab at screenwriting. I didn't want to look stupid for not knowing the basic rules. It's by David Trottier. I still use it as reference all the time. Hope that helps.
