I am writing a script now but i also want to direct it. Is it wiser to attempt to film it myself or to go and try to sell the script to someone else. A little background i am in college and don't have any bank that can go towards it but i can borrow digital camcorders from media services.

Another question does anyone know of any good books on screenwriting or anything of that nature i am currently seeking a communications major but there is not a whole lot offered at my school so i am trying to educate myself on the matter.
