Random Thoughts From Inside My Head:
-Man...Ben Affleck rocks, don't he? I saw Changing Lanes twice this weekend, and I was still impressed.
-Speaking of Changing Lanes...how about Samuel L. Jackson? "The baddest motherf***er on the planet" sure rocked in Changing Lanes! And if he's HALF as good in Attack of the Clones...that movie'll rock.
-Just saw a Daredevil pic on Comics2Film (www.comics2film.com) with Foggy & Matt Murdock... Wow...it actually looks like they'll stay true to the comic. Aces!
-Speaking of staying true, Spider-Man looks like a winner so far...almost universally good reviews. I smell a franchise.
-The best choice for the next Bond: Ewan McGregor.
-The next big thing in acting: Guy Pearce. Just saw L.A. Confidential again...wow. Makes me wonder why exactly he chose to do Time Machine.
-Speaking of good movies... I finally saw The Sixth Sense and Training Day. Wow! I can't wait for Signs now...and I still can't wait for whatever Denzel does next!
-Just finished filling the holes in the my collection of the Ultimate Marvel line of comics... (I'm only missing one issue apiece of Ultimate Spider-Man & Ultimate X-Men...and all of Ultimate Marvel Team-Up short of the first issue)...Bendis is the man. Simply put. And how about the recent run of Spider-Man comics? I mean, Amazing is actually good again with J. Michael Straczynski at the helm...and Peter Parker's had Paul Jenkins making it good for a while. Wow!
-Drugs are bad, kids. Food for thought.
-Women are good...better than drugs, at least.
-Death is bad. Boo! Bad death!
-The Scorpion King looks...okay-ish. But still, it has THE ROCK in it...so I'll see it out of morbid curiosity. So will the rest of America. $30 million weekend, here we come.
-Stupid Idea of the Week: Night golf. Nobody can like golf that much.
-Good Idea of the Week: Mocchacino. Mmmm....sweet nectar of life.
-Script Status Report: I decided to smoosh two of the better ideas together into one uberfilm, and so far (11 pages in out of probably close to 60-70), it's looking good. I passed it around at school, and feedback and buzz are good. So far so good.
-What's in my CD player: "Gutterflower" by the Goo Goo Dolls.
