: Guys, I literally just got home from seeing Kevin at the University of Kentucky, and boy was it something.
: It's so cool that Kevin took 4 1/2 hours (could that be a record? does somebody write that stuff down?) to answer anything and everything that was asked of him, and to be so accomdating and approachable for everybody. It was the best $10 I've spent in a long, LONG time.
: No autograph signings, but he is doing an AWESOME thing on Tuesday 4/16, when he's taking as many people as can fit in the theater with him to see Changing Lanes in Lexington tomorrow as a trade-off. Even though I can't be there for that, I think it's absolutely oustanding that he'd take the time and effort (not to mention the expense) to make that gesture for his fans. Total commitment and dedication to the little people.
: If anybody here took pictures tonight, I'd love to see them.
: Here's a big thanks to Kevin for being a totally down to earth guy, and somehow also managing to treat every question seriously, even the one about where Drawing Flies fit in with the rest of his movies (poor guy asking the question must have felt pretty low after that). And (as if you guys need encouragement) go see Kevin if he's anywhere near you doing one of these college things. You will absolutely NOT be disappointed.
...I'd say Drawing Flies takes place a couple of years before Amy. Clerks and 'Rats took place a couple of years before Amy, so maybe before/after the events of those films Bob took a trip up to Canada and that's when Drawing Flies took place (plus Drawing Flies was filmed after Mallrats so it could be the same as that).
Or something.
