...as my favourite V-A film... maybe because in some ways the mixture of fantasy, bizarre comedy and drama reminds me a little of Monty Python (which happened to be lambasted by certain religous groups as well). But then again, I love 'em all - like you said in a post lower down, Mallrats is as witty as Chasing Amy is beautiful, and J&SBSB just seems to wrap everything up perfectly (although I'd still love to see a sequel to Mallrats in comic form, as Kevin has mentioned before).

: a few of my friends, as well as some people i met on the board, say that dogma is their least favorite of all the movies. it's happens to be my favorite. am alone here? listening to the commentary while watching the movie, kevin them were saying that it got criticized for being to violent. i didn't think it contained massive violence at all. they didn't show graphic blood and guts or anything of the sort. it didn't show anyone eatting a brain or pulling their hearts out and stuff.
