: Isn't is wonderful when a film and a soundtrack mix just perfectly? I love it when that happens....for instance Rushmore and Harold and Maude have wonderful soundtracks....Harold and Maude in particular, all the Cat Stevens songs are perfect for the movie, it just clicks.....I feel the same way about Morphine in the movie spanking the monkey...
: Anyone else have a movie that they feel couldn't have had a better soundtrack?
I know its primary location is a record shop, but that soundtrack has some of the best underused songs ever.
Oh, and Nick Hornby has another movie coming out based off of his novel About a Boy. It starts Hugh Grant. The book wasn't as good as High Fidelity (pretty impossible to surpass that) but it is pretty damn good.
