: I wear Doc Marten's. Always have, always will. And I agree, I think Hopper IS a sell out for doing a Gap commercial, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I recently saw him in a CAR commercial too.

Dude, ten years ago, when everybody had forgotten who Dennis Hopper was after all the ins and outs of show-biz, he re-re-revived his career by doing sneaker commericals. This was before "Speed" made him briefly a bank-able star again, and before "True Romance" gave him the best scene he'll ever do. So wouldn't it actually be 'selling out' for him to *stop* doing commercials after they did him so well?

Have any of you seen the ad? It's one shot long. It has no Gap clothes. Hell, the people involved didn't even need to know it was a Gap commercial. I guarantee it was the least complicated job the Coens, Hopper, or Ricci ever had. (oddly, since it's a re-mix of the song, it's possible that it may have been a bit of work for whoever did that bit, but I doubt it was Brian Wilson doing it.)
