It was good... but a tad weak at times...

I thought it was entertaining and worth seeing (I was there for the first show with a full house) but it did not live up to my expectations.

Sadly some of the main characters (like MJ) did not work as well for me as others (Jameson was superb).

The fight scenes were few, short and far between and lacked the feel of the comics (where were Spidey's funny battle taunts?). I think this film might have suffered from the same problem The Phantom Menace had... being the setup film it has to cover lots of ground in 2 hours. So I hope the second is better.

I do recommend the film and will see it again. I just wish there was more to it.
