: i read that note and my heart broke. here's a person who strangely cares about a filmmaker's work but goes out his way to shamelessly slag of his work. every point this guy ticked off was really a cry for help because he willfilly misunderstands and twists the film to suit his sad purposes. you KNOW you watched "spider-man" and thought "gee wizz this is all that and a bag of chips!" and you KNEW that what you were watching was fantastic and everything you wanted to see. but no, you had to piss on it like a foolish ill behaved child slaps away candy in a snit, really tear into it. and this is the part that hurt, it's because you wore your spiderman underoos outside the house when you were in middle school and the other kids laughed, but that's still no excuse to be a hater. break the cycle man, break the cycle.
