...just spent a happy day cruising the local comic shops, picking up free stuff. Got me an issue 1 Ultimate Spidey, 4 X-Men, a couple Justice League, 5 random comics I've never heard of, a couple of South Park figurines one shop was just giving away and some Akira stickers (don't ask why - I don't know either). Oh, and picked up the Onamotoepia(yes, I know I probably spelled it wrong) debut issue of Green Arrow for a bit of a laugh... or something. Anyway - even though a lot of the comics I got were ones that don't interest me in the slightest, it's still nice to see the looks on the damn fan-boy comic shop owners' faces when they have to hand you over something for free. Makes paying a painfully large amount for my J&SB figures slightly easier to swallow when I know they have to pay 50p for every free comic book they give away free (one of the assistants told me).
Whilst on the subject of comics, regarding the new Spider-Man movie - is Green Goblin the only super-villain, or are there a couple of other more 'minor' ones. I ask because in the screen-shots of the new Spider-Man Gamecube game based on the film, you can clearly see people like Scorpion, Vulture etc.
