Not only will Episode 2 beat the crap out of Spider-Man... it will be a far better movie.
I liked SM but it is just not any better than X-Men or Batman or... well anything like it. It will make its $180 million tops. Star Wars will make over $200 million probably.

: ...because, to be quite honest, Star Wars just doesn't have the cool factor that Spider-man has (despite Star Wars having Grand High King Of Cool Samuel L. Jackson in the cast). Even though Spidey's based on a comic, it still doesn't have the 'fan-boy' connection of Episode 2. I'm not saying Spider-man's better than Star Wars though - I've still got my May 16th tickets booked for Episode 2 (although I'll probably do the same for Spider-man when it finally gets released over here in the UK, half-way through June).

Holy shit... remember last year when they were talking about the unbeatable grosses of Harry Potter... and the Lord of the Rings... well, I truly believe that Spider-Man IS unbeatable... atleast until Episode II comes out in two weeks :)
