I can almost visualize the whole movie but I still need the storyboards to lean back on, not as bad as others but still as a crutch. If I had some to do the drawing for me then it would be so bad, but I am a horrible drawer and the person who copies them over to make them legible is sick right now. Right now they aren't as important as with more professional situations since I'm the director, DP and editor all in one. Firewire is a blessing to micro budget indies.
: Tedious, yes, but it's a great way to get the director, DP and editor... and sometimes even the actors... all on the same page early on so that the shoot can go smoothly.
: Next time I do the directing thing, I'm gonna storyboard everything, every last scene... it just makes the whole thing go so much easier.
: Plus... besides, it's like having a little rough draft of the film without having to shoot anything. I rather like it.
