Roger Corman produced it, I think the budget was like $4 million, tops, and all that cash pretty much went into the Thing's outfit, which actually looks sorta decent. Mr. Fantastics stretching F/X or a joke, and the Torce might as well be someone covered in lit oily rags. And Dr. Doom looks like that Dr. Doom costume that those shmucks at "Wizard" wear for their space-wasting "photo-comics"...
