: : Not surprising, that's when the title started going down hill. But, I've started to keep track of the title recently for obvious reasons. I missed the death of Odin storyline, but so far the current creative team is showing great promise.

: Fuck. Fuckfuckfuck. I liked what he was doing there. I mean, there were problems, but they were problems I had always had with the character, so how could he escape them?

The names of the creative teams escape at the moment, but no I don't think Jurgens is doing it anymore. Yeah, I suspect I may have the same reasons you do for Thor not being my favorite character. (I had a really hard time coming up with a good story for him, and that Asgardian dialect is a bitch!)

: I'll try and pick up ish 50 if I can.

Please do. I think I get a little bit of the piece of the pie from the sales. I could really use the 20 bucks. :P

: What's funny, though, is that I didn't stop buying it because it was getting worse (though I thought it was) so much as just not having the spare cash anymore ... I cut out virtually all comic purchases, except for Garth Ennis pretty much (not counting people like Kevin or Frank Miller, who don't put out stuff regularly enough to make a severe dent in the wallet ... plus "Deadpool" which was just bouncing back to good again around that point ... didn't get into Alan Moore for another year or so). But I always wondered what happened with Thor ... glad to know I didn't miss anything.

Oh god, don't I know it. Comics have gotten crazy expensive. But, it looks that you know what you like. I hope you have stracsinsky comics in your buy list. Rising Stars , and Midnight Nation, and Spiderman are top of the line comics, as well as any Brian Michael Bendis comics.

: How many deaths is that now for Odin?

I haven't kept track. He is a god you know. He can die as many times as he wants to. To each his own.
