Hitman
Black Panther
As for more recent comics... Some popular ones like New X-men is good, Ultimate Spider Man, The Ultimates, Ultimate Xmen. Also, anything ABC Comics, like Promethea and Strong man. But, as you can see Im mostly a Marvel Fan.
