Not to open up another can of worms here...folks.

But, I think everyone's missing the point about the whole J Lo "controversy." She's a talented person and brings a lot to the table. The extent of her talent can be argued until the end of time. You either like her or you don't. You shouldn't judge Kev's work, or future work for that matter, on your biased opinion of one casting announcement.

The point is that J Lo is being cast for a particular reason. Think about it. J Lo and Affleck don't exactly come across as Rick and Ilsa, hell, they barely come across as Ralph and Alice. The implication is that there's more going on than Ben becoming adjusted to fatherhood. Think about it. Ben will probably be playing a good Irish gentleman coming to grips with an almost forbidden love with a Hispanic. And a Hispanic with a 6 year old daughter no less. I foresee some great personal turmoil, some hilarious Affleck-tions, ala Tom Selleck in Three Men and a Baby, and a hella great story about love and acceptance and probably racial prejudices in Jersey during the late '80s.

Sounds pretty good to me...bring on J Lo! Where can I stand in line for this movie?
