why Mooby would post such an assinine topic, since i know you aren't like that . . .then i realized it was a freaking imposter!!!!
: : Now, I know that this is off-topic. And I know that on top of that, it has already had a lot written about it. But I am going to write it any ways.
: : Now for anyone who hasn't seen the new Star Wars movie by now, one word don't. However, if you are going to, the following contains spoilers:
: : I saw the latest Star Wars movie on Sunday. And walking in to the theater I was somewhat excited about it because word was that it was better than Episode 1 (which though I didn't love, I thought it was okay.) I came out of the theater thinking several things.
: : One; it was in fact worse than Episode 1. Two; the plot was cliched, which I expected, but not to the degree that it was. Three; the acting was laughably bad. I thought that the only good actors were Ewan McGregor who had a I-wish-I-would-have-read-the-script-before-signing-on-to-this face on, and Samuel L. Jackson, who's acting was limited to making "interesting" faces at a computer generated character. Four; the dialogue was bad even for George Lucas standards (need I remind your of Anakin Skywalker's sand talk.) Five; whoever came up with the idea of having a scene were Yoda spoofs The Matrix should be ashamed of themselves (and whoever animated the scene should also be ashamed.) And last but not least six; why the heck was R2-D2 at the arena any ways (it would be kind if anyone who knows the answer to tell me.)
: : I know George Lucas only made this movie for some more money, but does he have to make it so apparent?
