: At first the board started out with a small fanbase that asked the questions that started the summaries.
No, they asked the questions and then started the summaries themselves, actually, in order to cut down on repetition of questions.
: Then people started saying good and bad things about the movies, then people continued that for a long while and started bringing up comments and questions about new movies that cannot be added to the summaries,
Everything can be added to the summaries, it's just a question of is it worth adding?
: then people started posting completely off topic things,
Ah, but the ban was lifted on 'off-topic' postings. Not that posts aren't still deleted, just that it's more relaxed about that sort of thing now.
: next people wanted to make statements and get attention by saying how much they hate view askew.
Actually, trolls have been coming pretty much since the beginning. It's just that now, they have more fodder. At the time, it was just "Clerks" and "Mallrats", meaning pretty much anybody who wanted to insult anything just picked on "Mallrats" 'cause it's an easy target.
: Now it has gone too far, people are completely posting off topic things and as I was searching the newest board I found a picture of a dead baby with some bastard complaining about what man has come to.
If I remember correctly, that was linked off the board, it wasn't posted on it. And, also, a bunch of people complained about it right away so that anybody would know not to click on it.
: I don't think that this board was made to talk about the inhumanity of todays man, I think it was started to talk about films.
Actually, it was started to talk to Kevin. But it has evolved into a community where people are allowed to talk about whatever they want (except rape and other obvious bad things).
: I am not mad at Ming, I just think that he should try to delete more posts than he does. I'm not just talking about Ming because I'm sure he's not the only one who chooses what goes on the board.
You're right. Everybody who posts chooses what goes on the board. Ming is the only person who directly deletes posts, however.
