Dogma and J&SB were both higher energy flicks. And as much as I love Mallrats and Clerks, I must say I laughed more at the latest View Askew flicks. It's Jason Mewes- his humor is unlike anyone else's, in the way that he could say the crudest, dumbest fucking thing possible- and seem incredibly witty. It's all in his delivery. Giving him the starring role absolutely made J&SB Strike Back. Of course casting just about every funny person in the business didn't hurt either.

Anyway, the marketing and high profile actors did make the new Askew flick more accessible than previous ones. But the film itself carried the same style humor, amplified by the presence of Jay and Quiet Robert.
