i got woken up at 8:00 on a saturday once and i was so pissed! i was getting ready to go off on the guy when we said, I'm sorry to bother you sir, but would you like to participate in a survey on cat food?
well for the next 45 minutes i sat there and was asked questions such as," have you ever seen this commercial? a man is driving in a car pool and his cell phone rings, another passenger tells him not to answer it. the man looks around, yet another passenger also tells him not to answer it. The man finally gives in and answers the phone, only to hear his cat on the other line singing a jingle, that asks for a certain type of cat food."
i told him of course i'd seen that one and the cat's name is baxter who wants Meow Mix
i've gotten a few other calls since but none as good as the cat food one, every friday night, just as i fall asleep, i look up at the ceiling and i pray that maybe, just maybe, the phone will ring tomorrow and i will hear a familiar voice asking me about dog food.
