: Ok, first off, I wasn't the one who was cheating. However, I and my team were severely ripped off by a bunch of cheating bastards. It was my senior year in high school at the state academic bowl tournament. My team was by far the best in the state; we'd won every tournament we'd attended and had lost no more than 3 matches the entire year (out of at least 40 matches).

: So I and my team go to the state tourney and we're kicking ass as usual. It comes to lunch time and we're hanging around in a room away from the commotion, just chilling out. Next thing we know, we're getting booted out of the room by the tournament organizer who says we can't be in there since that's where they keep the questions. So we leave without an argument. A little while later, we see the coordinator with HER team in said room with the doors shut and they're having some sort of meeting.

: Later in the tournament, we play the coordinator's team (PSHS). This is a team who has NEVER beat us, never even come close. They proceed to wipe the floor with us. We're naturally pissed off and decide to crush them the next time around. So we cruise through the bracket and meet up with PSHS again. Once again, they do the impossible and beat us. In the two matches we played again PSHS, they did not miss a single question and they were ringing in and getting questions right impossibly quickly. It became obvious that the coach and her team had studied the tournament questions just so they could win the state championship. We brought this up but since we had no definitive proof, PSHS went on to wrongfully win the tournament. Basically, no one, not the moderators, judges, coaches, players, etc. could believe we lost to such a (previously) pathetic team but they seemed to have won "fair and square".

: I still get riled when I think of how we were fucked over. Grrr.
